Audience Report – Visual Arts
CVAN and The Audience Agency have just launched the Visual Arts Report – a collaborative project that draws upon data provided by more than 100 visual arts organisations across England. The Visual Arts not only offer us so much pleasurable experience and creative inspiration but are also central to our society and economy, engaging people in their local communities while also being essential contributors to health, wellbeing, leisure and education.
We are excited to see the visual arts in England are socially varied, intellectually curious, and are increasingly dominated by a new generation, enthusiastic to engage. Click on the link below to learn more about how visual arts audiences behave and think in England, or how you can create more meaningful engagement.
It is exciting to pool our data and resources together to discover their backgrounds and interests, to see what inspires them to visit institutions, and to learn what Visual Arts audiences want in their experiences. We are hopeful that this will pave the way to a more accessible and sustainable Visual Arts sector for all!
