The group chose to reflect on freedom, based on their life experiences and training through Apna haq. Flowers represent happiness, symbols of peace include - birds and bright colours, different languages explore culture, hands coming together show togetherness. The banner expresses the group's feelings and how making as a group builds confidence. They also explored visible mending in a creative repair session, further exploring sewing techniques.
The group reflected on what making means to them:
“It’s therapeutic, takes the stress away.”
“Learning means we can pass skills down to children and do it at home as well as in the class.”
“It's nice to learn all these art techniques.”
“We would like to share it elsewhere, it’s such a useful skill.”
“It would be nice to learn how to repair clothing, upcycle them into something else, continue with sewing techniques.”

آرٹ ورک: اپنا حق کے اراکین اور گروپ میں شریک افراد نے تخلیق کیا۔

گروپ نے اپنی زندگی کے تجربات اور “اپنا حق” کے ذریعے حاصل کردہ تربیت کی بنیاد پر آزادی پر سوچنے کا انتخاب کیا۔
پھول خوشی کی نمائندگی کرتے ہیں، امن کی علامتوں میں — پرندے اور روشن رنگ — شامل ہیں۔ مختلف زبانیں ثقافت کی کھوج کرتی ہیں، اور ہاتھوں کا مل کر ہونا اتحاد کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔
بینر گروپ کے جذبات کا اظہار کرتا ہے اور دکھاتا ہے کہ گروپ میں تخلیق کرنے سے اعتماد کیسے بڑھتا ہے۔
انہوں نے ایک تخلیقی مرمت سیشن میں ‘Visible Mending’ یعنی مرئی مرمت کی تکنیکوں کو بھی دریافت کیا، اور سلائی کے طریقے مزید سامنے لائے۔
گروپ کی آراء:

“سیکھنا مطلب ہے ہم بچے کو بھی یہ مہارت دیں اور گھر میں بھی یہ کر سکیں، کلاس کے ساتھ”
“یہ تمام آرٹ کی تکنیکیں سیکھنا بہت اچھا لگتا ہے”
“ہم اسے کہیں اور شیئر کرنا چاہیں گے، یہ بہت مفید مہارت ہے”
“کپڑے مرمت کرنا سیکھنا اچھا لگے گا، انہیں اپ سائیکل کر کے کچھ اور بنانا، اور سلائی تکنیک جاری رکھنا”
“اپنا حق” اردو میں “ہمارا حق” ہے۔
یہ خواتین کے لیے ایک معاون تنظیم ہے جو زندگی کے چیلنجوں سے گزرتی خواتین کی بحالی میں مدد کرتی رہتی ہے۔
